Score: TGS 5 - 2 Finborough

 

This match was extremely tough, but we pulled through and played so well, it is hard to describe.

We all participated, but nearly everyone played in different positions than normal. There was no ‘man of the match’, but that is only because – in a way – everyone was.

The pitch we played on was full size – which is not what we’re really used to, and it was a very big challenge to get the ball down to the other end of the pitch and into Thetford’s goal. But we did – twice – by Xanthe Scarlett and Charlotte Johns.

Thetford also scored, five times, which must have been quite hard, for them, because we were holding them off rather well.

We may have lost, but not by much.

The only main thing that needs work on is cooperation within the team, and to get used to our positions.

But anyway, well done Finborough.
