On Tuesday 3rd and Wednesday 4th February, Finborough School put on a performance of '13 the Musical'!

This is a story of a 12 (soon to be) 13 year old called Evan Goldman. On the divorce of his parents, and him and his mum moving, he finds it a whole new experience making friends and getting everyone to come to his Bar Mitzvah (Jewish). Making best friends with his neighbour Patrice, he looses sight of true friendship when he has to choose between her and the "coolest kids" in school. After a big mistake, everyone is against Evan as he tries to resolve the impossible. At a misunderstanding with the star quater-back, Brett, and a hug shared with his girlfriend, Evan seals his fate. But, between the blow, Evan knows that he doesn't care. As Patrice, and her friend Archie, are Evan's friends, he realises that he doesn't need any other friends. Especially if they are only fake.

Being on stage was a whole new experience for me, and I cannot wait for next year! - Charlotte Nettleton

It was an enjoyable show, and you can tell that everyone put so much effort into it. - Emily Metcalfe

Did You Know?!

What do you think would happen to a McDonalds meal if you left it out in open air for 2 years?

Guess what?

Nothing. It was proven by two chiropractors in Michigan, who left a Big Mac ‘n’ fries on the counter of their surgery to make people think twice about what they're putting into themselves. A Big Mac from McDonalds has 29 grams of fat, which all adds up to 45% of the whole burger.
